Baileys&#39; great English breakfast, bacon fried golden and crisp, great taste, fried eggs are also good, the most important thing is that the coffee is great, the overall style is very relaxed, the service I like is better, and the communication is very convenient!

We enjoyed a lovely meal at The Black Swan. We shared calamari and halloumi starters, along with a delicious soup which came with two huge pieces of crusty bread. It was 2-4-1 on pizzas and they were absolutely delicious with a range of original toppings. My son had the steak and ale pie and it was absolutely packed with steak. My daughter went for the Cajun chicken burger and really enjoyed it. We were too full to manage a dessert but the children both went for cheesecake - it was Biscoff and they loved it! We will definitely be back next time we&rsquo;re in Alnwick.

We decided to return to the Olive Branch for lunch today. The young staff were efficient &amp; very polite. Our lunch was beautifully presented and the service was very good. My friend had a vegetarian quiche &amp; I had a vegetarian panini both needed more flavour it was rather bland.

Recently, the mood is relatively low, but I personally feel that food can always cure the inner unhappiness. This mivisi restaurant is also a small and well-known local area, and the weight is quite full.

Another eaterie that we visit every time we stay at Holly Lodge. Nice for a wee bite of lunch and a tea, coffee or juice. It has been needing a wee facelift for a few years now, a bit run down looking which is sad because we love it.

Popped in for a light lunch. Just read other reviews, and yes, some tables when we visited were in need of a clean, but ours was fine. A selection of toys for young children in the corner and the toilets were clean too! Service was polite and friendly, although we seemed to get an extra milkshake, think we paid for it too! Having ordered at the counter, without a welcome, we struggled to find a table that was not covered in crumbs from previous customers; we chose the cleanest, wiped the crumbs off ourselves, but it was unfortunately near the toilet, and the door opened outwards! My meal arrived in a cold dish, with a &#39;tired&#39; side salad. On leaving, we said &#39;thank you&#39; out of habit; the whole place needed a good clean.

My husband and I visited on 1 June 2016. We both had chicken and beef sandwiches on baguette bread. What a disappointment.. the cheapest tasteless baguettes, a lot of ketchup and chutney to mask the fact that there was hardly any filling. The pea and ham soup was thinner than water itself and tasteless. The so called offer is &pound;6.95.. you can get a better deal from so many cafes/restarurants. All I can say is never again. So many waiters in the backgound but service was very slow.
